Meet Your Therapist

Hello, my name is Paige Carter! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. I am passionate about working with survivors of sexual abuse, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, dissociation, chronic illness, addiction, and neurodivergent individuals. I also provide post-psychedelic integration support to those navigating their experiences.

I utilize various experiential approaches, including EMDR, Parts work (a blend of IFS, Ego State, Structural dissociation, shadow work), and Somatic Experiencing, to help clients access parts of themselves that are often difficult to reach through traditional therapy. I also incorporate creative and expressive modalities such as music, books, art, symbols, metaphors, and archetypes as experiential tools that support reflection, integration, and meaning-making beyond traditional verbal approaches.

My work is deeply influenced by Jungian psychology, which seeks to integrate the conscious and unconscious mind, and Liberation Psychology, which emphasizes social justice, equity, and human dignity. Through my training, professional experience, and personal journey, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how to create a space where all parts of ourselves are welcomed and respected. I prioritize fostering an environment that promotes safety, collaboration, trust, and empowerment. My goal is to support clients in moving from surviving to thriving.
