Meet Your Therapist
Charlie Jannetto, Counseling intern
*IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY*
As I complete my master’s degree in mental health counseling at NAU North Valley campus, my focus is on providing personalized, compassionate care that helps you achieve your unique goals. With 9 years of experience as a high school teacher, I have developed a strong ability to connect with teenagers and young adults, gaining a deep understanding of their specific challenges. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for LGBTQ individuals and couples, especially those in nontraditional or consensual non-monogamous relationships.
I take an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of techniques to meet each client’s unique needs. I use methods such as relational-cultural therapy and mindfulness, but my primary focus is on fostering a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe that the relationship we build together, along with our shared understanding of your goals and how to achieve them, is key to meaningful change. My Gottman Level 1 certification further enables me to support couples in strengthening their relationships through evidence-based techniques.
I am committed to offering a nonjudgmental space where we can work together to address challenges and create lasting, positive change. Whether you’re exploring your identity, navigating relationship dynamics, or seeking support through difficult times, I’m here to guide and support you along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and snowboarding—activities that keep me grounded and connected to nature.
I currently offer both telehealth and in-person sessions under the supervision of Nicole O’Hare, MS, LPC, CIMHP. Let’s begin your journey toward a more fulfilling and balanced life together.
